This was supposed to be a simple 3-ingredient berry smoothie but it ended up becoming a massive and colourful smoothie bowl. I know, I went a bit crazy with the toppings but we are celebrating pride day and I wanted it to match their official colours. You can serve it in a glass or bowl, equally healthy and delicious!
To make this smoothie you need 7 minutes, a blender, frozen berries, a banana and milk or water. If you would prefer a smoothie bowl it is better thicker. You can use whatever toppings you want: fruits, nuts, seeds…
I usually wake up full of energy and this berry smoothie helps refresh me during hot days. It is better to drink it immediately after making to get all the vitamins and minerals. This smoothie is so simple to make. Just place your frozen fruits and milk/water into your blender and it will come together within seconds. Ready for your berry smoothie?
Frozen bananas are the base of many of my smoothies in the blog because it gives them a unique creaminess and is a natural sweetener. You will love the richness and ice-cream texture of this berry smoothie.
