My addiction to granola has no limits and I have just baked the most delicious chocolate granola. This granola makes a rich addition to your morning yogurt, or just sprinkle it over ice-cream, absolutely delicious!
Make it in only 30′ and will remain fresh for 2 weeks, however if I’m being honest this chocolate granola was gone within days!
This recipe is for anyone that can’t live without chocolate but wants to eat healthily. Rolled oats, cashews, pumpkin seeds and cocoa powder are the main ingredients in this recipe. It is refined sugar free, low in fat and you can use gluten free oats, as you can see there is no comparison with this granola to the granola you buy in supermarkets.
To give this granola its rich and intense chocolate flavour I choose a good quality cocoa powder and also added a dash of brewed coffee. As you probably know, pure cocoa powder has a lot of health benefits. It is rich in fibre and iron and works as an antioxidant in our body. Dark chocolate is the best one, choose one with a high percentage of cocoa and you will get the healthy benefits of chocolate. Now that you know how easy is to make granola get your hands on and enjoy this Addictive Chocolate Granola.
Homemade granola lasts for up to 2 weeks so try it in different ways and find your favourite. Friends, if you made this recipe, show me! Please tag your photos #shoothecook on Instagram. Happy baking!
