Have you made chia pudding before? Chia seeds are everywhere now, I didn’t know how to use them in the beginning but I wanted to give this super food a go. This Chia Pudding recipe is the best way to fall in love with chia seeds. Are you ready?
Chia seeds are considered to be a very complete seed because it is gluten free, rich in antioxidants, calcium, iron and a good source of fibre. They are very versatile, you can add them to your sweet or salty recipes but the most amazing thing about chia seeds is that they are able to absorb 10 times their weight in liquid. That is why chia seeds are perfect for puddings or to make sugar-free strawberry jam – See recipe here.
I use this pudding recipe a lot. I usually make it in the evening and leave it in the fridge overnight for the breakfast. It is creamy and delicious in the morning. These chia pudding cups are a healthy and low calorie dessert or snack. Just play around with the toppings to suit your taste, I use seasonal fruit, nuts or homemade granola in mine.
Remember chia is a plant-based super nutrient and now you know how to use it. All you need to make this basic chia pudding is 5 INGREDIENTS and 5 MINUTES.
