Pancakes! Pancakes! Healthy Pancakes!
We love pancakes! Today we are going to make a pancake recipe with only THREE ingredients. This is the simplest and most delicious pancake recipe I know but I’m open to correction! 😉 Feel free to leave your comments below. Sometimes I add some extra ingredients or flavour to the dough but most of the time I keep it simple: eggs + yogurt + wholegrain flour = Healthy pancakes.
Pancakes can be a healthy breakfast if you follow this recipe and as if you do not go overboard with toppings. This recipe doesn’t contain sugar so we can definitely say it’s a healthy option. There are lots of healthy and delicious toppings you can add to make your pancakes nutritious. I spread some homemade Strawberry Chia Jam between my pancakes and added a bit more on top, it may be too much for some people but I love it! IFinally, I add some yogurt and sprinkle them with sliced almonds..mmm

- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp wholegrain flour
- 2 heaped Tbsp of yogurt
- 1 tsp honey - optional for added sweetness
- Beat the eggs, then add the flour and whisk to combine. Pour in the yogurt and the honey if desired, mix a bit more.
- Preheat a pan over a medium heat. Drizzle the surface with a bit of oil and use some kitchen paper to spread the oil on the pan. Pour half of the mixture onto the pan. Cook until bubbles appear (about 3') then flip it and cook for another 3'. Enjoy!
