This smoothie brings me back to my childhood when my mum used to make me a fruit puree every day after school. This mango & avocado smoothie tastes the same. I was shocked when I tried it for the first time because I didn’t think that my mum gave me avocados when I was a kid but anyway the combination of mango and avocado is delicious. This mango & avocado smoothie is extra creamy and with a tropical taste that I love. It is one of my favourite smoothies and last week this smoothie has been my go-to recipe.
I remember my mum blending the fruits for me. I asked her how much portions of fruit she put in my smoothie and she said “At least 5” proudly I just laughed, as you can see I ate the recommended 5 portions of fruit a day from a young age. I’m grateful that I was fed so well as a baby. She always reminds me that she never gave me any processed baby food, everything was homemade. You taught me well mummy!
It doesn’t matter if you didn’t eat much fruit as a child, it is never late to start eating healthier. I’m sure you will like this delicious creamy mango and avocado smoothie. With this smoothie you will get all the vitamins you need every day. The avocados provide us with a lot of potassium and they are loaded with healthy Fatty Acids which are good for your heart.
