Creamy & delicious Greek Tzatziki Sauce (in 10 minutes) A healthy yoghurt & cucumber dip perfect for dipping vegetable sticks, pitta bread and everything in between!
Not all sauces are heavy and unhealthy! Some are rich, yummy and healthy enough to garnish our dishes. Homemade sauces are the way to go. Let’s make a delicious & light Tzatziki, a traditional Greek Dip made with: Greek Yogurt, cucumber, dill, lemon juice and garlic.
This yogurt sauce is the perfect sauce for meat and fish dishes. swapped ketchup Tzatziki sauce in our zucchini burgers and it worked out really well.
You have to give it a try! Forget dressing your food with processed sauces. You probably have all the ingredients in your cupboard to make this Greek Tzatziki at home. I promise, it will become your favourite dip this summer.

Creamy & Delicious Greek Tzatziki Sauce (in 10 minutes) A healthy yoghurt & cucumber dip perfect for dipping vegetable sticks, pitta bread and everything in between!
- 1+1/2 cup (375 ml) natural Greek yoghurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dill, finely chopped
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp olive oil - keep 1 tsp for garnishing
- 1/4 tsp salt, pepper to taste
Grate the cucumbers. Toss with 1/2 tsp of kosher salt. Transfer to a fine mesh strainer over a deep bowl to drain the excess water. Press to remove as much liquid as possible.
Mix the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, dill, vinegar and olive oil together in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve with pitta bread and your favourite vegetables. Enjoy!
