Valentine’s day is just around the corner and we feel the need to show our someone special just how much we love them. I still think that any day in the year is perfect to enjoy a romantic evening with your partner but I guess all the marketing for Saint Valentine’s has inspired me to write a Valentine’s day blog post. Valentine’s Day makes us do crazy things like buying expensive gifts or trying to cook a Michelin star dinner at home. I avoid buying presents but I usually cook a special dinner for the 14th. If you want to surprise someone with a incredible dinner, you will find below an easy, delicious and affordable menu to impress your Valentine without spending the whole day in the kitchen.
Let’s start with some simple and tasty entrées that you can make in advance: Guacamole //Blue Cheese Salad with Walnuts //Smoked Salmon Flower Canapés
The main course is the key to success: Asparagus Risotto with Mushrooms (V + GF) // Sea Bass Fillet Rolls with Prawns. Both delicious and easy to make.
Now the sweeter part of Valentine´s Day, desserts: Dark Chocolate Mousse // Light Yogurt Cheese Cake with Strawberries, you don’t need to bake them and in 30′ they are ready.
You know your partner’s taste better than anyone else so mix and match these recipes as you like. I haven’t added any Valentine’s decoration to the dishes because as I said earlier every day is the perfect day to cook a special dinner. Don’t worry, these recipes are foolproof so don’t worry there will be no disasters in the kitchen!
I hope you blow your partner away with this meal and you have an unforgettable Valentine’s day together!
