  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 Tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp finely sliced spring onion
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander, parsley or mint
  • a pinch of salt
  1. Place the avocado and chickpeas in a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together. Spread on your favourite sliced bread and enjoy.
