This Spinach and Berry Smoothie is a healthy, nutritious and delicious way to get more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into our diet.

  • 1 cup frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants...)
  • 1 frozen banana, chopped
  • 2 cups spinach, washed (can be substituted for kale)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp ginger root, minced (can be substituted for 1 tsp of ginger powder)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp of honey (optional)
  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.

Recipe Notes

*Add 1/2 extra cup of water if you like a thinner consistency.

*To sweeten add some honey, agave or maple syrup
