Have you ever tried a green smoothie? This strawberry green smoothie is the perfect way to introduce green smoothies to your diet.

  • 2 cups spinach (or kale)
  • 1 + 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 2 ripe, peeled, frozen banana
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup (add more to taste)
  1.  Add the spinach to the blender and blend for a few seconds. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until creamy. For a thinner smoothie, add more water.

  2. Serve immediately. If there is any smoothie left over you can store it in the fridge up to 24 hours but it tastes better fresh.
