As the weather gets warmer, our body calls out for ice-cream. Today we are going to make refreshing Melon and Lime Popsicles with a touch of mint. These popsicles are delicious with a real lime taste. This recipe is dairy-free and vegan. They are refreshing, tasty and very healthy. Do you have 10′ to make them?
The ingredients are: water, lime, melon, mint and a tiny bit of maple syrup or honey. They take 4-5 hours to set which is the hardest part of the recipe!
To make them prettier I usually add a small piece of strawberry or kiwi inside. What do you like to add?
These popsicles have an intense lime flavour and are a little tart, I love that. I add 1 tsp of honey for sweetness and also because it makes the popsicles less icy. This recipe is very light, compared to shop bought ice pops. Treat yourself to these healthy popsicles!
Do you want to try more flavours? Just take out the ice pops, wrap them in film and leave them in the freezer. Wash the moulds and get ready to make our next delicious popsicle recipe: Mango & Chocolate Popsicles, a sweeter version inspired by my favourite childhood ice-cream: colaject by Netsle. Check out the recipe here!
How did it turn out for you? Which moulds did you use for these lime & melon popsicles? Share a photo with the hashtag #shoothecook so I can see your fruity popsicles. Enjoy!
